The SF-204A switching amplifier measurement filter is inserted between the device under test and the analyzer input.
Reduces signals outside the filter band from the switching signals generated by Class-D amplifiers.
This filter is designed as a passive filter using a specially designed inductor to handle high power and minimize low frequency distortion.

The switching signal generated by the Class-D amplifier does not affect the speaker, but the measuring instrument measures the noise and distortion of the switching amplifier, resulting in inaccurate and unpredictable results.
To solve this problem, the measuring instrument input signal is preprocessed.
A well-designed passive filter can process signals containing noise or distortion without damaging the audio signal.
